Hojat-ol-Islam Seyed Mostafa Hosseini Neyshaburi, the head of ICRO’s Quran and Propagation International Center made the remark in an interview with IQNA, adding that it also helps to develop synergy between Iran and the rest of the Muslim world in the Quranic field.
He said three stages in implementation of the plan, namely assessment of capacities, Quranic diplomacy and networking of Quranic centers, have concluded and planning for the next stages is underway.
Referring to the negative propaganda against the Islamic Republic of Iran and attempts at spreading the false notion that Shia Muslims do not pay enough attention to the Holy Quran, he said ICRO, as the country’s cultural base abroad, and especially its Quran and Propagation International Center, have attached great importance to dispelling such notions.
He said the Risalatallah strategic and comprehensive plan has been devised with an emphasis by ICRO’s president, Hojat-ol-Islam Mahdi Imanipour.
It is aimed at conveying Quranic messages to those seeking them and integrating and attaching the Quranic capacities of the Islamic Republic of Iran at the domestic level to those abroad.
The plan is also part of the efforts to pursue Quranic diplomacy, he stated.
Hojat-ol-Islam Hosseini Neyshaburi noted that different capacities in the country, including those of individuals, grassroots organizations, government bodies, women, the media, Quranic arts, etc have been identified and efforts have been made to introduce them at the international level.
He said Iran’s potentials abroad, including those of ambassadors, and cultural officials have been employed for this purpose and Quranic diplomacy has been given special importance in the cultural diplomacy of the country.
