OGHI, (Parliament Times) : Bank of Khyber (BoK) conducted awareness seminars in Battagram, and Oghi on the operations and services of Islamic banking. These seminars were held in the bank’s Islamic branches; Hazara University Sub-Campus, Battagram, and Govt. Boys High School, Oghi, and provided a detailed overview of Islamic banking principles and practices, as well as the specific products and services offered through BoK.
Abdul Samad, BoK Shariah Resident Board Member; Muhammad Zahid Khan, Islamic Banking Area Manager Islamabad & Hazara Region; Adeel Khan, Officer Islamic Liability Business Division, Abdul Basit, Officer Islamic Banking Product Development, as well as Branch Managers: Battagram, Imtiaz Ahmad; and Oghi, Syed Rafaqat Ali Shah, addressed the participants.
The seminar was attended by renowned religious scholars, business community members, salaried individuals, students, and the general public from the city. Participants actively engaged in discussions with many satisfied with the clear explanations, informative content, and engaging delivery by the speakers.
