Kuwait City, July 28: Kuwait Finance House (KFH) kicked off the 3rd edition of Leadership Excellence (BLE) Program in partnership with Headspring, the joint venture between IE Business School and the Financial Times, to support the learning and growth journey of KFH’s leaders.
In his speech during the opening ceremony of the program, KFH Group Chief Human Resources and Transformation Officer, Zeyad Abdullah AlOmar, said “It is with great pleasure that I welcome you all today as we gather to inaugurate the Building Leadership Excellence Program in partnership with Headspring. This annual advanced training initiative brings together participants from KFH, AUB Bahrain, and KFH Turkey.
AlOmar added “In today’s dynamic business landscape, effective, innovative, and inspiring leaders are in high demand. The Leadership Excellence Program is meticulously designed to meet this demand. It seamlessly integrates two essential components: the academic-oriented learning from IE Business School and the Financial Times’ unique insights and practitioner-oriented approach. Through this program, you will engage in a diverse range of personal and professional activities, challenging yourselves, broadening your horizons, and acquiring the skills necessary to lead with confidence.”
He continued “During the program, you will have the privilege of tapping into Headspring’s extensive network of thought leaders, coaches, and world-class professors. I encourage you to fully leverage their expertise, ask questions, gain fresh perspectives, and embrace every learning opportunity.”
AlOmar confirmed that for KFH to continue its global leading position as the largest Islamic bank in Kuwait and the world leading Islamic financial institution, the contributions of the BLE participants are essential to achieving the KFH Group’s strategy and vision of being among the top 100 global banks, indicating this program is not merely a one-time event; it is part of a broader journey toward leadership excellence.

Al-Musalam offered some pieces of advice to the BLE participants pointing out that leadership extends beyond decision-making and team management.
