The Iranian Islamic Coalition Party declares its endorsement of presidential candidate Mohammad Baqer Ghalibaf as the presidential election day nears.

The Iranian Islamic Coalition Party announced on Sunday its support for presidential candidate Mohammad Baqer Ghalibaf in the upcoming presidential elections. The party stated in its announcement that, after studying global and regional developments and analyzing the current circumstances in this sensitive phase, they declare their support for Dr. Mohammad Baqer Ghalibaf, confirming respect for the remaining candidates.
The Islamic Coalition Party emphasized that their endorsement of Ghalibaf is based on his extensive experience in administration in the country and his commitment to the principles of the Islamic Revolution.

During the debates among the six presidential candidates in Iran, Ghalibaf, the current Parliament Speaker, highlighted that confronting sanctions against Iran would be among his priorities. He also mentioned that Tehran is a “golden key” and stressed the importance of mutual friendship with Russia, China, India, Pakistan, and Central Asia.
Ghalibaf underscored the necessity for the “Endurance Front” to reach a unified choice before the election deadline, emphasizing the need for diplomatic training of cadres.
Iranian elections to include mobile polling stations
With the presidential elections in Iran for the 14th term scheduled for June 28, the director of Iran’s election headquarters, Mohammad Taghi Shahcheraghi, stated that approximately 60,000 polling stations are ready.
The director also noted that some of the stations will be mobile, making the overall stations available for people to cast their votes 90,000.
Shahcheraghi further noted that necessary equipment and facilities have been distributed to provinces, with preparations conducted at 3,500 stations for election operations.
