KABUL(BNA): Mawlawi Hayatullah Muhajir Farahi, the Deputy Minister of Publications at the Ministry of Information and Culture, reviewed the activities of local media in Jawzjan province.
In a meeting with the officials of Jawzjan Department of Information and Culture and the heads and journalists of local media in this province, he stated that the Islamic Emirate supports media outlets that operate according to the principles of the Islamic Emirate system and Islamic values.
The heads and journalists of the private local media in Jawzjan shared information about their work and activities, and also discussed some of their issues, suggestions, and requests with the Deputy Minister of Publications.
Additionally, officials of the Jawzjan Directorate of Information and Culture mentioned in their speeches that no local media outlet in this province has stopped operating since the establishment of the Islamic Emirate in the country, and the local media are functioning in accordance with the principles of the Islamic Emirate system and Islamic values.
The Deputy Minister of Publications, assured that the leadership of the ministry is committed to addressing the problems and meeting the demands of local media officials.
Following the meeting, the Deputy Minister Farahi, along with Mawlawi Saifuddin Moatasim, Head of Information and Culture of Jawzjan, and Qari Saifullah Anas, Head of National Radio and Television in Jawzjan, toured the broadcasting and technical sections of the Jawzjan National Radio and Television Directorate.
In the end, Mawlawi Farahi and the mentioned officials also visited the area of the martyrs of Dasht-e-Leili and offered prayers for the souls of the martyrs who died for Islam, freedom, and justice.
