INA- BaghdadThe Islamic Dawa Party, on Monday, extend condolences on the death of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi, the Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, and their companions.The Islamic Dawa Party political office said in a statement, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “we express our deepest condolences and the most sincere feelings of sorrow over the martyrdom of the the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ibrahim Raisi, and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian and a number of officials in the helicopter crash carrying them in northern Iran. The statement added that” Raisi served the Islamic Republic sincerely and selflessly in all the positions he held, and he was a competent, honest and ambitious statesman in providing the best he could for the advancement of his people and the progress of his country, and he tackled the responsibility of the presidency at a sensitive stage in which he proved through his achievements in a short period that he is worthy of the trust of his people and its leader”, noting that “his loss is a loss for all Muslims who have pledged themselves to defend on their faith and justice cases”.The statement added that “the Islamic Republic has passed through harsh experiences and passed through difficult conditions, but with the firm will and determination of its jealous and brave people, it overcame them, and made them opportunities for development, progress and great renaissance, which made Iran a majestic regional state and a major power in the region and the world”.The statement concluded “on this painful occasion, we extend our deepest condolences to the leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khamenei (may Allah protect him), the brotherly Iranian Muslim people, and the bereaved families of the martyrs, for their painful misfortune, And the sorrow in their painful misfortune for Imam Husayn (peace be upon him) and the people of his house in Karbala , calling Allah the great merciful to bestow upon the martyrs the highest grades in the highest gardens, and to inspire everyone patience and fortitude, and to perpetuate the pride of the Islamic Republic and preserve its people under its courageous and wise leadership”.
